TouchIT Technologies Releases New HID Interactive Whiteboard
1 August 2009, London, TouchIT Technologies™, manufacturer of high quality touch-based visual communication products has released a new Interactive Whiteboard version based on a HID technology (Human Input Device) that does not require a driver “The move to HID from driver based technology is a logical step in our plans for cross-platform support” remarked Andi Brabin, Director at TouchIT Technologies. “Windows, Linux and MAC all recognise HIDs so it makes the implementation of our hardware on these platforms a lot more straight forward“ he added.
The HID TouchIT Board represents a total redesign of the electronic hardware. Performance has been improved,tracking is faster, connection time to the server has been reduced which improves the user experience of the product. TouchIT Technologies will now only be shipping HID technology to its customer base.
